About Me
I’m a Digital Film student at Missouri State University.
I grew up in St. Louis, but I go to school in Springfield, Missouri. I went to Nerinx Hall High School, where I first found my love of writing. I experimented in writing poetry, short stories, and eventually scripts. In my senior year, I won first place in my school’s 2021 Film Festival. That experience inspired me to explore the wonderful world of film.
My favorite part of being a storyteller and a filmmaker is brainstorming new ideas. I love seeing how a story fleshes out before my eyes and how it can take twists and turns and take me to a place I never expected. Collaborating is also another part of filmmaking that I love. I find working with others can bring about amazing work and new perspectives.
I’m applying to the Dramatic Writing Graduate Program at MSU to further hone my craft of screenwriting.
